Description of Dragon Pets

As far as I can see, the Gold Dragon pet gives Deadly Blow/Deadly Magic Blow RATE, not Chance. This means that it increases the percentage of additional damage you will deal with Critical damage, not increase your chances of dealing a critical attack.

The Red and Black Dragons DO increase CHANCE for their described damage type, as mentioned by others. This means they increase your chances of inflicting critical damage.

So be careful when buying it. The Gold Dragon pet is basically for the DEX class characters, so go nuts in making Ryans even more powerful! (Just kidding, but he is pretty strong.)

Their buffs are still pretty damn powerful, though.
