The DO's and DON'Ts in Myth - Part #2: DainnHello. Today I'd like to discuss some DO's and DON'Ts about mything with Dainn. First off it's my personal opinion (even though a lot of the people I know - no wait. All of the people I know share that opinion).
Let's start with the DO's.
As we all know mything is all about your personal DPS (Damage per second). So that's what you should care about the most.
Dainn's have a lot of funny skills in their Earth Tab. You find interesting things like the New Fury of Land, Summon Meteors or the RB version - True Summon Meteors.
Now, what's so good about those skills? Hahaha, let me tell you right away. The other people in your party are trying to push the mobs, what should you do? Use your New Fury of Land of course! The Mobs will be flying up hiiiiigh in the air, and the others can neither hit nor push the mobs in any way. And what's even better is, that you do damage!
Another thing you could do is to use Bitter Cold Breath (that freezing skill, you know?) to randomly freeze the mobs right where they are standing - no pushing here, peeps!
Now, since after all your Fury and BCB have a Cool Down (gawddamneet!) the others will eventually have managed to push the mobs. Too bad, huh?
But then's your time to shine again! You remember the awesome Earth Skills I mentioned earlier? Just spam your Meteors in any way possible - once again the others won't be able to hit; but you will!
Wanna know what's even better? You can most probably use your New Fury of Land again and just hump the mobs even higher! Nobody but you will be able to deal good damage, wuhahaha.
As for lvl 85 Dainns who have their Ultimate Skill: You should always spam it. No matter when, no matter where. It makes it hard for others to hit the mobs and you deal shtloads of DMG. Care about yourself, about your own DPS and spam it!
Nobody cares about fast runs anyway, so let's just have some fun, shall we?
Now for some DON'Ts when doing Myth-runs with a Dainn:
Dainn doesn't have too many skills to push the mobs, but Icicle Rain, Summon Rocks or Hand of Earth should suffice to help getting the mobs into a corner.
Since everyone is trying to work together, you probably should do the same (but then again, why would you? DPS FTW! After all those here are the DON'Ts, amirite? You can do that by not spamming skills like New Fury of Land of either of the Meteor skills.
Skills like Cold Blue Dragon, Red Fire Dragon and its RB version or either Rain of Fire deal good dmg, without interfering with the other party members. So pay close attention to avoid using those skills!
When you're good with timing your skills, you can also use BCB (Bitter Cold Breath) to freeze the mobs midair, so skills do more DMG. But timing skills is too troublesome anyways, so why would you even bother to do it, ne?
Another thing you COULD freeze using BCB are large mobs at M3/4. But there again it needs some timing. Since if you freeze them at a time they're casting a skill, it will just interfere with the others, so it's all about timing.
